Convivium Singers have been fortunate enough to work closely with Hugh Benham to make premier recordings of his music under Guest Director Neil Ferris. Further details will be available in October 2011.
Convivium Singers' most recent recording (conducted by Artistic Director, Alexander Norman) is a disc of sacred music by the 16/17th century composer Peter Philips, in conjunction with the 450th anniversary of his birth. The repertoire will include motets, and solo voice works, showcasing the variety and vitality of this oft-neglected composer's music.
During 2009 and 2010, Convivium Singers created their first disc: a compilation of much-loved choral repertoire sampling a diverse range of British and American music. 'The Lost Chord' is available on iTunes; if you would like to order a hard copy, please visit www.conviviumrecords.co.uk
